Coverage Overview
Most kayaks, watercraft, and accessories we carry come with manufacturer warranties. Warranty periods and coverage vary by brand and product type. Please refer to the documentation included with your product or the manufacturer’s website for your specific model’s warranty terms.
How to File a Warranty Claim
We handle all manufacturer coordination on your behalf — you don’t have to navigate brand support portals or hold lines. Just follow these steps:
- Contact Us First: Email support@threegators.com or call +1 212-334-0212. Do not contact the manufacturer directly — we’ll coordinate everything faster on your behalf.
- Provide Your Order Details: Have your order number, the product name or model, and a clear description of the issue ready. Photos or short videos of the defect help significantly.
- We Review & Confirm Coverage: Our team reviews the claim against the manufacturer’s warranty terms for your specific product. We’ll confirm within 1–2 business days whether the issue is covered.
- Resolution: Depending on the manufacturer’s policy and the nature of the defect, we’ll arrange a replacement unit, coordinate a part shipment for repair, or process a full refund.
- No Return Needed for Defective Items: In most cases, you do not need to ship the defective product back to us. We’ll confirm this during the review. If a return is required, we provide a fully prepaid label.
Resolution Options
- Replacement: A replacement unit is arranged when the product arrived defective, failed within the warranty window, or cannot be repaired. We handle all shipping at no cost to you.
- Parts & Repair: Where a specific component has failed, the manufacturer may ship the replacement part directly to you.
- Full Refund: If a replacement isn’t available or the product cannot be repaired within a reasonable timeframe, we issue a full refund to your original payment method. No restocking fees.
What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper storage
- Damage from use in conditions beyond the product’s rated specifications
- Products with removed or altered serial numbers
